Cala San Vicente is surrounded by the high mountains of the eastern end of the Sierra de Tramuntana. There are four small coves in the area: Cala Barques, the site of Hotel Niu, Cala Molins with its fine sand, Cala Carbó with gravel and pebbles, and Cala Clara, the smallest of all. The crystal clear waters of the coves against the backdrop of the majestic mountains of the Sierra de Tramuntana with the Cavall Bernat in the distance make an exceptionally beautiful picture which has been immortalised by numerous artists, particularly when bathed in the rosy light of the setting sun. There is a bus stop 200 m from the hotel which will take you to any point in Majorca. The town of Pollensa is only 5 km away and the port is 7 km. The distinctive features of this area are its peace and quiet, forests of tall pine trees, and crystal clear waters.
