Cala San Vicente, end of may 1935 Dear Agatha, this evening I stopped at one of the terraces on Cala San Vicente, a few meters from the house where you stayed the last time you came to Pollensa. I am having my meal here everyday in front of the sea. They serve the best fish in the area! The sun shines stronger every day on the island and this morning I asked Juan the spanish man who manages the Niu Restaurant to bring me a swim suit so I can approach the wharf tomorrow morning and have the first swim of the year. I have enjoyed reading your last novel which you wrote here and it has left me surprised. I gasped like always. I long to meet you again and tell you of my experiences in Pollensa.Yesterday I bought a picture from a boy who was painting at the beach. The locales have told me it is very good.
